Reflecting on the year (OFIW)

  • by

Today I am mainly excited about our Boodaville celebration in Barcelona tonight.

Xmas has come very early this year. The school term finishes on the 19th December, then add in the El Catllar bank holidays – 6, 8 AND 12 of December, and really it’s just fiestas from here to 8 January! Lucky we got the tree up and hastily made our year review posters.

This is the third year we’ve invited collaborators and friends to get together in December and it is a healthy ritual for me now to go all the way back to January and remind myself of what happened. So many changes in my personal life! Boodaville has another four successful EU funded projects done. And Rovira Regenerativa is on a steady path forward. Hopefully with a huge leap when we do the Crowdfunding in 2026! Energies are rising and job lists are getting longer.

Most importantly this week I have started to contact mills to make the Rovira Regnerativa Olive Oil dream a reality. We are looking for people to help out with the harvest, and depending on dates and hands available, and the reality of prices, we will either harvest 21-24 December, 28 – 31st December or early January. This seems very late – but we will do what we can! As always.

We have plenty of interest in the Rovira Regenerativa weekend 2-4 January and there are still places available. Today me and Angela were talking logistics to make sure we will be warm, well fed, and out in nature working and learning! More info and sign ups here
