We greet each other, get to know one another, confirm the plan for the day together

11-14h30 – Tour, history, plans

(We have a snack during this time when we feel we need it)

Key aspects of the Boodaville permaculture demonstration site: human areas, soil regeneration, food production, water catchment, energy production

Vineyard – How did we end up managing a vineyard?! What’s been done to support regeneration, what’s next, plus some observation

Life Terra trees planted in the vineyard – How did we end up planting over 1000 trees?! What’s been done, what’s next, plus some observation

If there is time: Seasonal intervention!

  • March: Pruning the vineyard is top priority. We’ll share what we’ve learned, what needs to be done and how… and let you have a go!

  • May: Likely chop and drop cover crop. Other interventions TBD depending on how much rain we get and other conditions

14h30 – Lunch

Personal time – After lunch we usually give each other a bit of space to rest or do whatever we need to do.

Social time – This can be a hike in the valley to observe and forage, swimming in the river, or other activities based on the season.
