Permaculture, Ecosocial Design, Regenerative Cultures
· Living Permaculture since 2010 ·
The Boodaville Association provides opportunities for learning about permaculture, ecology and designing regenerative cultures. We manage a demonstration site and are developing a land project in the Matarranya region of Spain – 2.5 hours from Barcelona. We also coordinate EU projects with the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus+ programs.

October 17th-19th: next Regenerative Weekend!
Resources our association has to offer

Experienced team
Learn alongside people with years of practical experience and education in permaculture, ecology, soil microbiology, regenerative agriculture, animal husbandry, bio-construction and more.

Demonstration site
Over 12 years of infrastructure means visitors experience growing, eating, drinking, cleaning and gathering comfortably, applying permaculture principles, plus what it takes to maintain and develop it.

Regenerative weekends
Next weekend is October 17th-19th! Get an in-depth introduction to our site, surroundings, history, network and plans. Learn the theory behind our work in the abandoned vineyard, get hands-on practice, then eat, swim or hike.

Extensive network
Gain access for yourself or your organisation to a wide range of practical experiences and knowledge through the network of people and projects we’ve cultivated for over a decade.
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model
that makes the existing model obsolete.”

Collaborate or learn with us
We love sharing our resources! Here are some of the typical ways people and projects work with us:
- Attend a Regenerative Weekend to get in-depth history and tour of our site and surroundings, learn theory behind the seasonal agricultural interventions we’re doing, try some of it hands-on, then enjoy social activities with us in nature or nearby towns.
- Sign up for a living permaculture weekend or guided tour of Boodaville, help with work that maintains and develops the site’s design according to permaculture principles.
- We place funded youth volunteers in immersive learning experiences on our site or in partner projects.
- Invite our team to deliver workshops or courses at your event.
- Request to use our permaculture demonstration site or the surrounding vineyard, olive and almond terraces for your organisation’s educational experience.
- Get the support of our association’s legal entity to gain funding for your project.
- Join one of our youth programs in 2025.
- Invite us as a partner to join a KA2 Erasmus+ project.
- Support our fundraising campaign to BUY the vineyard and become productive regenerative farmers (Rovira Regenerativa).
- Follow news and commentary from Lou in the weekly blog post on Fridays – The On Fridays I Write (OFIW) category.
Eco Design
Permaculture is an ethical design framework, that leads us to an ecologically sound way of living. Inspired by nature, permaculture allows us to develop efficient and productive systems that can be used by anyone, anywhere in our households, gardens, communities and businesses.

Positive Change
As we confront the ecological collapse of our living world, we can use these principles of cooperation with nature and care for the earth and its people to create regenerative cultures and positive change.
